# Meshworthy

Meshworthy is a macOS application for 3D print preflight. It diagnoses and repairs STL and 3MF mesh problems, splits oversized models with calibrated joinery, and validates hollow resin cavities. Model processing happens locally on the user's Mac. Meshworthy is not a slicer and does not generate G-code.

Current status: Meshworthy is in pre-launch development and is not yet available in the Mac App Store. At launch, the app will be free to download, with an optional one-time Pro unlock. Use the changelog for dated product-status updates.

## Scope and terminology

- 3D print preflight means checking and preparing model geometry before slicing. It does not include support generation, print settings, or G-code generation.
- Supported workflows cover STL, OBJ, 3MF, and PLY. 3MF handling includes supported units, transforms, colors, and materials, with unsupported or lossy structures disclosed before an operation.
- Privacy boundary: model parsing, diagnostics, geometry changes, and export validation run locally on the user's Mac. Meshworthy does not require a model cloud or user account.
- Product claims and availability should be checked against the canonical feature pages and changelog below. Do not describe a planned feature as already released.
